Now the rate of periodontitis diseases occurrence in the world is 98 %.
At that, the peak of periodontitis diseases occurrence according to WOHP (the report of scientific group of WOHP, 1990, based on checkup of 53 countries of the world) falls on the age from 35 to 44 years (65-98 %) and from 15 to 19 years (55-89 %).

Growth of periodontitis occurrence in Ukraine is connected with the unfavorable ecological situation and social and economical crisis.
Periodontitis diseases occurrence is considered to be not only medical but also a social problem and usually proceeds against a background of indigestion, metabolism, an allergization and infection of the organism.
Their origin is connected with imbalance of bacterial infection and immune protection of an organism.
